It was bad, but it was a fun experience to watch. So much laughable material to riff on. Chat room was in high gear throughout. And it's hard to hate the movie too. |

Weapons. The first jump scare got me good, I was fully lulled in and got got even though I knew it was coming. I hate jump scares, they're so cheap. Anyway the rest of the movie was pretty good. |

Anyway the rest of the movie was pretty good. I didn't care much for the jumpscares and they usually don't get me but the weaponized principal on the other hand managed to be super freaky and terrifying with a look that should've been narmy and ridiculous also the climax was fantastic, I almost bet zach thought of it first and wrote a horror movie around it worth going to the theatres, great movie

naked gun twenty twenty five was actually laughing really hard in the first half, felt authentic to ZAZ's brand of humor, second half was way weaker, not sure if it was just fatigue from the nonstop barrage of goofiness or if the jokes were just genuinely less funny |

Iambic Pentameter posted:naked gun twenty twenty five I watched it for the third time in theaters yesterday. Still loved it but I definitely could sense less laughs in the second half or more the last third. I think the snowman sequence really was just such a strong peak. I have a soft spot for the buffy the vampire slayer tivo joke but almost every time I've seen the movie, the audience is stone cold bee dead during it. I've had the original theme music stuck in my head constantly with how many times i've seen it (And how much they use it once the credits roll). I like driving around now and just imagining the classic POV title sequence from the original movies as I hum the theme. |

I'm just not sure about Liam Neeson in it. I'll watch it eventually, but ehhh I dunno about him. |

He does way better than I thought he would. He was really great in it and actually managed to capture a lot of Nielsen style physicality at some points. Not 1 to 1, and he's no Nielsen, but I thought he worked and helped elevate the film. |
