![]() ![]() Despite everything, we find our way to Komo Mai and complete our mission, even if Corellia won't help us. Time to go home before anything else stupid happens...right?

iirc it's mentioned across various NPC dialogue/flavor text that Corellia is rumored to have some sort of ~secret~ method for eternal youth (possibly involving Celestial Flower Seeds), yeah

So if we're recruiting people to move to Sedna.....where is Sedna anyway? Also I like that they sort of re-used the Komo Mai theme from the last game here. Not that they haven't done something similar for a few other locations, but I like this remix in particular.

I was intrigued enough by this LP to stop, go back and watch the entirety of your LP of the first game, and then catch back up. In a sense, I'm sad I missed out on this series, although I probably would have been put off by the card aspect. But... this last update: what in the actual gently caress were they thinking? Adding tedious padding to your tedious padding is certainly some game design.

Would you believe that we have not one, not two, but *three* more pointless back-and-forths across Anuenue before we are finally free of this part of the game? E: The full sequence is Jungle -> Corellia -> School of Magic -> Jungle -> Corellia -> School of Magic -> Port -> School of Magic -> Jungle -> Opu -> Celestial Tree -> Corellia -> Celestial Tree -> Dream World -> Celestial Tree -> Corellia -> Celestial Tree -> Opu -> Jungle -> Alfard Artix fucked around with this message at 04:51 on Mar 23, 2023 |

I'll get wood ha ha was thoughtfully added in localisation, there's just not a joke there at all in Japanese. You can just imagine the guy typing out 'I'll go get wood from the celestrial tree' and then thinking 'wait a minute...' Looking forward to another highly successful battle against the forces of promachination.

![]() ![]() I definitely meant to schedule this for tomorrow but I guess it's out there now so gently caress it, have an early update. Our attempts to stop promachination in Anuenue...go exactly as you'd expect them to. Thanks Valara!

I like the running theme throughout these games of people misinterpreting myths and legends to great detriment. Getting a myth wrong is definitely well-worn ground for RPGs, but something about the way BK handles it appeals to me for whatever reason. Maybe because in the original BK at least, multiple villains get owned by not understanding what they're toying with ![]()

Gotta be honest, I thought Lolo was going to turn out to be the afterling. No I don't remember if she is in BK proper or not. Also got a good laugh out of the (I assume unintentional) 10-15 seconds of dead air at the end of this ep, leaving that final conversation and Fedule's comment to twist in the wind. There is uh, definitely not supposed to be 30 seconds of black at the end of that video but whatever, it's easy to fix on YT's end without having to re-encode and reupload. God, even the LP is now like "are you suuuuure you don't want to spend a little more time here?"

I can't believe Fedule managed to talk over the in-game mail asking people to apply to tri-Crescendo and Sagi saying he's already gainfully employed. That seemed like a perfect thing to set off a rant, and would've answered some questions that he ended up asking about Sagi's employment.

Geldoblame is the guy in my biochem class who gave his midterm presentation right before someone plugged in an infected flash drive that made a bunch of porn pop up on the projector. It doesn't matter how good of a job he did, ain't nobody going to remember that poo poo after what followed.

Quadrangle is an architectural term, not a mathematical one, per Wikipedia. Whether Guillo is serious about loving Sagi or is simply trolling Milly is another question. Are we providing Sagi with sagacity? He doesn't seem to be listening if so.

My questions revolve around what exactly checking them out "online" means in this world. Anyways does anyone else find it pretty weird that you actually can just... pull the wings out? Seems like this is something that would happen a lot just by accident.

![]() ![]() It turns out that selling your soul to dark gods for power has consequences? That's not fair, surely that cannot be right. Weren't they basically using the afterlings as fuel for the arma? I kind of expected beating them to be resolved by basically draining the afterling out of their fuel tank to power up further and leave them running on fumes. It would make sense as a comeuppance for their choice of power source.

Glad to see Kamroh's chair is still around. Do people in the time of BK1 know that there's people actually living under the Taintclouds, or was that a retcon for this game?
