I tried switching from Medaglia d'Oro (Miami FL) espresso grounds to Lavazza Espresso Italiano (l'Italia Italy) again on my Aeropress and confirmed that the Miami Italians are better than the Italians of the Roman Empire. RIP Italy.

I am a full convert to induction. You have to get used to your timings being a bit different if you cook the same things a lot, but once you've got that sorted it's really no different to gas and everything's so easy to clean. The only downside is getting used to reading a number off a panel instead of looking at a flame to see at a glance what heat you're at.

Induction is good and the learning curve is miniscule. I use stainless steel pots & pans from Scanpan and Essteele on induction and they work great. I had used a couple of the scanpan pans on gas before getting the induction, a good pod-cast length scrub on the bottom with steel wool and jif cream got the bottoms almost good as before they'd ever touched the gas and they now work on the induction with no noticeable difference.

I had no idea until today that Logan was potentially up for a seat, and had also forgotten he was a citizen of the Free World. Very good news for Formula One. When was the last time there was a full season signed Freedom driver? Rossi only had like 4 races with My Russia right?

Not having a flat bottom would definitely be an issue, but if they are steel and flat bottomed I don't see what the problem would be. If you're worried about the surface of an old pan scratching up the glass give them a good scour and a rinse I guess.

F2 rookie standouts - Doohan, Lawson, Sargeant, Iwasa. Personally I dunno why Hauger gets to be the RBR reserve over Iwasa, who handily beat him in a worse car. He actually would have finished 3rd if not for Monza’s DQ. Doohan looks pretty fast - very raw though.
