The Autosport and Motorsport paywalls have gotten so over the top that both sites are almost unusable. Motorsport won't let me read anything with adblock enabled. And neither are even remotely good enough to justify paying for these days. Racer is pretty good if you care about other racing series too, but their F1-specific coverage isn't quite as good as others IMO.

That is solvable, you simply block the code that checks for the ad blocker.

Side bonus, in doing this I imagine to delete the entire comments section.

I think I'm just going to become a Verstappen fan, so I can sit back and enjoy the next decade of F1. I have already committed to a low-oxygen respiratory regime which is calculated to kill about 10% of my brain cells each year, while still being survivable. I am also going to start on a new workout plan that consists entirely of banging my head against a concrete wall until I pass out.

Will that be enough to allow me to overlook Max's revolting personality and sketchy on-track behavior? Or should I add some other means of inducing brain trauma to my Google Keep list? I began last season cheering for Ferrari, so I do have some experience with such things.

Haven't you heard op? Ferrari are guaranteed to win this year, it's basically a sure thing. The scud boys are on the up and up you can count on it.

On the one hand I like the idea of naming a grandstand in a way that will confine all the most obnoxious fans to one place, but also nothing should be named Verstappen

The funniest outcome would be noted motorsports fan Lawrence Stroll choosing Alonso over his son. It won't happen, but imagine it did.

Moaning about Monaco when we have an entire section of the calendar on garbage tracks in war torn shitholes and/or countries with egregious human rights abuses that are just as boring is what I struggle with. It's like outing yourself as being introduced to F1 by Drive to Survive - a self-own that you are too loving stupid to realise.

Theo is right, like a decade ago ragging on Monaco would be a valid criticism but theres so many more worse absolute dogshit tracks now I'd rather see gone first.

The Monaco Grand Prix, the most prestigious race in the world of Formula One, was in full swing. The streets of Monte Carlo were filled with the roar of engines as the world's best drivers competed for the coveted trophy.

But suddenly, the peaceful atmosphere was shattered as a barrage of missiles rained down on the track. The stands, filled with wealthy and powerful spectators, were caught in the crossfire as chaos erupted.

Max Verstappen, whilst leading the race, was determined to do something to stop the attack. He quickly jumped out of his car and began to search for a way to take down the missiles.

As he made his way through the panicked crowds, he stumbled upon a nearby construction site. There, he found a large crane that he knew could be used to take out the missiles.

With quick thinking, Max climbed to the top of the crane and took control. He expertly navigated the crane's arm towards the incoming missiles, using its massive claw to grab and crush them mid-air, just before they could reach the track and the stands.

The crowd watched in awe as Max skillfully took out missile after missile, saving countless lives. His heroic actions were met with cheers and applause from the spectators.

As the attack came to an end, Max climbed down from the crane, exhausted but victorious. He had saved the day, and the Monaco Grand Prix could continue.

But Max's heroism went beyond just saving lives that day. He had also taken a stand against the wealthy and powerful elite who had been the intended targets of the missile attack. He had shown that no matter how rich and untouchable they may seem, they were not immune to the destruction brought on by the actions of a few.

As the race resumed, Max Verstappen went on to win the Monaco Grand Prix, cementing his status as a true champion. But his greatest victory that day was not on the track, it was in standing up for what was right and fighting for the lives of the innocent.

The incident led to a much-needed conversation about the security measures on the Formula One events and the importance of being always vigilant and aware of the potential dangers that surround us. Max was hailed as a hero by not only the fans of the sport but also by the general public for his selfless act of bravery.

From that day on, Max Verstappen was not just a talented driver, he was a symbol of hope and determination, who in the face of destruction and chaos, rose above it all and emerged victorious.
