Zoya is all-in on this and I'm not willing to vote this early for the enthusiasm alone.

Plastic and Sand didn't pick up on the reason for the odd-out ~~7th Guest~~ 17th Player hunt so they're up on the list for being that player (which I'm all for getting out of here as, as even if this is my first Cube game I'm picking up chaos vibes and this player is likely a potent catalyst).

We've got what appears to be multiple teams, some of which may not be operating on the same rules if keats post is anything to go on. Having a way to communicate between said teams is much better than not in trying to figure out what the hell's going on.

Additionally you can go and look how people interact with the open claims to figure out their teammates, much like how Gnosia games work.

because finding out keats isnt "town" immediately made it obvious that keats was insane, or naive, or normal -- finding out keats wasnt town didnt mean anything to salad... probably because salad is "SELF-aligned" or even "town-aligned", whatever the 17th player is

so the situation is this: there are 4 teams, of 4 players
each team is named after a sanity, and i am guessing but have no confirmation yet, their sanity is secretly set to match their alignment name

Eh I didn't read it that way. I actually agreed with Salad's read on that post cuz I forgot about your faction claim.

Also I'm severely overheating which isn't good for thinking about things lmao

I do agree with the self-aligned hunt bit though.

there are two methods i can think of for finding the solo, one straightforward, one less straightforward

less straightforward method:
each delegate goes in order

delegate #1 picks a player they would like to vote
delegate #2 agrees or vetoes, choosing an alternative player they would like to vote
delegate #3 agrees or vetoes, choosing .... etc etc down the line until we happen to pick a player that no team is opposed to voting, AKA the solo

straightforward method:
we just openclaim our team members

i dont think any of us would like to go with option #2, but option #1 is kind of a pain in the rear end and partially claims team members anyway

please share with me your thoughts, fellow diplomats

I bet if we kill #17 we win because otherwise there is nothing stopping the four teams from pushing a no-elimination every day. The alternative is a long, drawn-out, political experiment.
