It kinda boggles my mind that people can be so down on AEW when the worst Dynamite is better than the average Raw, Smackdown, Impact, or Nitro. It's the first major North American wrestling company run by people that actually like wrestling and want to entertain their audience, as opposed to older companies being run by carnies trying to string along a bunch of rubes.

The pandemic Darks and BTEs were a nice reprieve from the day to day horribleness of that time. The Dynamites were good for the conditions, but the Darks where Tony was giving pretty much any indy wrestler who could make it a chance to get a paycheck made for some very fun, very long episodes. Excalibur and Taz slowly going insane on the desk, Baron Black, Serpentico, etc getting squashed, Jurassic Express working a million matches made it a little easier through the week.

Absolutely agreed. Said it before but watching the Daily's Darks live starting at like 1 a.m. over here while posting on the threads was probably the most enjoyable distraction from the hosed up reality. Granted some of the longer episodes that lasted until 5 a.m. were a bit tough to stay awake for, but if Taz and Ex could keep commentating in the very early morning hours after a 12- hour taping, so could I after another day of not getting to work.

I really like the influx of luchadors we've been seeing in AEW lately and I hope the trios titles become the "insane 6-to-8 minute lucha spotfest" titles at some point. Also, we need some old fat immobile lucha referees for additional melodrama.
