I think his decision to say that should be taken as a decision he made to claim cop, and I think the more subtle way he did so this game compared to how he explicitly claimed cop as town should be considered as well

I'm sorry if that is toeing the line of referencing other games, but I would argue Cube made it relevant by saying that noteworthy question when it was subject of discussion in another game. It would be weird not to mention it

Yeah, I think the context of how and when you are claiming this in relation to the timing of things in another game that I'm not certain people will be comfortable w me going into because it draws conclusions based on your *alignment* in that game, but it will certainly be annoying to not mention if I do end up thinking you are scum and need to argue that you'd falsely claim doc this time.

Like Cube also explained in the post he linked, he always ends up explaining what he meant (aka explicitly claiming doc) in the previous games he's done this. Not so this game, which is notable. It looks like cube *did* intend for it to go under the radar, contrary to how he's played this when town
