After pondering the differences between Doctor Frankenstein, and any potential thematic connections between Doctor Jekyll and my own (town) flavor, this is where I'm at in regard to flavor setup-spec.

What I find interesting is that both characters were well-intentioned individuals who experimented too much with science, right? Which maybe means there is no rhyme or reason to alignments, but I think Clo wouldn't be able to resist some clever way they're tied together.

Without a 2nd scum example, I think it could be a theme of villains who are not the most obvious villain in their work (Victor Frankenstein being the most famous example)

Cube mentioned bounty hunters, which seemed like an odd thing to mention as according to his flip he wasn't one. I am sensing the potential of a BH wincon and possibly among scum. In fact it's possible that Meen was chosen as NK for this reason. He was pretty transparently Jekyll/Hyde, I'm thinking if I could get there a BH could too. So anyone looking for possible roles is a little suspect to me right now and we should probably not even breadcrumb our flavor here.

In Space Opera the bounty hunter pairs each knew they were hunting someone, AND that someone was hunting them. So as I recall we were told something like, "You are hunting Joe the BrainSlug, but be warned! Joe is also seeking you out and will kill you first!"

At the time I thought RWC was correct that Cube's comment about BH's meant that scum had a BH on their team. Maybe someone who powers up if they kill their book rival? Paired villains in a novel who are against the protagonist and each other? Two rival protagonists in a story who ruin everyone's lives around them and are basically villains in the story?

But now that wolo reminded me of Space Opera, I'm wondering. What if the BH victim(s?) are scum? Maybe someone on the scum team knows that there is a 3P BH who is hunting them?
