Not necessarily. Doc and (probably) Hider exist in the setup.

It's unclear if it's once per person, once per item, or both.

Kaschei said they have someone a role blocking power item

if I understand correctly items can be passed around and some might expire after use so there is no danger to admitting you used it, especially if the information gleaned can be helpful

I guess, but since it's items that were used, then claiming results for the items are relatively safe. If we get the roleblocker and doc to claim, or if the person who got the doc item did something else last night then the rb'er stopped the kill.

I find it hard to believe that a game of this size, that has 3/5 items able to stop a kill, would have additional, non-item ways to stop kills.
