lol, you have 1 fish

It's true RWC, I made up a whole story about you being a befuddler because we are arch-rivals and I will do anything to get you eliminated on D2 even if it means I go down next. I can't help it, our enmity is the only thing that keeps me alive at this point and the very thought of you surviving until later in the game is such an anathema to me that I just have to make self-defeating plays in mafia to sate the demons inside me.

:psyduck: and yet you voted me. I'm growing more suspicious of Iggy's perspective on the roles here, hmm.

I voted you because it was a weird coincidence that you got exactly the player who was confirmed to Crab and because you'd made two claims about what you'd be doing that you then reneged on. I'd expect to be voted/pressured for that too. Not exactly the same thing as being open to blowing up a bunch of people D1 before there's even a flip to work off of. Believe it or don't, but I was kind of waffling about joining the Cube vote before the Rhymes stuff came up over feeling a faint town line in shooting your read, even though the way you went about it wasn't towny in my view.

I'm still sold on Cube or Zoya, I have just added Hal.

Let's recap: HCT says his results were messed with and that he shouldn't have gotten any. Hal says maybe his too. He doesn't trust them, then he does.

Meanwhile I am paranoid that somebody tracked me to Spork who was the night kill so I keep my mouth shut. Also I'm wondering about my own results. Like, I had accepted them although I had no idea what that meant.

So it's really easy, let me live and I will repeat my action (only on somebody else, obviously) and we'll see if it's loud.

PS I did not kill Spork or anyone else.

The very last bit about “spork visited you” was what threw me, I wasn’t sure until I looked at it again if that was part of your result or a whole different result, and since I didn’t have a music rant I was pretty sure it did not apply to me

So you think both the fish and knowing you got that bit about spork were both lucky guesses?

Hello yes I heard there was a lovely trainwreck here and...

Though really.... I'm not sure how I'd get to this exact position as town; being fake-caught in general as town is when I'd say "welp, sure, you gotta take me out to check me, but let me get out a last will and testament just in case it's not total baloney and we both got bamboozled by scum" and then also "dollars to donuts I think this other person is lying, but if they're clean they better figure out who messed them up last night fast"

This kinda read in the moment like you'd be cool with any of them being booted, and it ends with you asking to pretty please live to tonight to solve the mystery instead of taking the standard route. If you're somehow not scum, I'll retract it, but as it is it's just hitting me as a bit of a funny flail.

If RWC had said “yeah I did get a weird result saying I befuddled someone” it may have at least given me pause. But since she has proved to me the rest of my result was correct I’m quite positive she also got the bit about befuddling too.

And of course the fact that she ignored that whole thing during her catching up and then needed some time to actually claim her (fake) role is just icing on the delicious scum cake.

As always though, I admire the moxie of trying to survive one more day.

It does not bode well for town's success in this game though.

No, I did not get anything in my role about befuddling! If I had, I would have said something. Like after reading HCT's "I got someone else's results" I could have said "Yeah me too."
