There were some very colorful tinctures like merthiolate, mercurochrome (yes, containing mercury), and old box of aspergum, obviously toxic mosquito repellent, and a bottle of lysol so old that it still said it was suitable to use as a douche.

I had a skin rash that kept spreading and bought a homeopathic body wash from Rite Aid that said it would take care of it. This was before I knew what that word meant. Anyway, long story short. It didn’t work at all, and I got to learn what that word means, but the cream I got from my doctor cleared it up in two weeks without issue.
