Worst: FLCL Progressive: What if FLCL didn't have clever characters, themes, or humor? You'd be left with a high-budget AMV. Which this isn't, because it has the animation budget of Naruto and a few muffled Pillows songs in the background. FLCL Alternative: I thought it was slightly better than Progressive, but it was probably due to lowered expectations. Anyway I have three slots so it's not getting away free. Avoided: Goblin Slayer: There might have been worse anime this season, but none were as ubiquitous
