Something to keep in mind is that Vandarl's recommendation seems to be suggesting that option 4 hires warriors from other clans. This might piss them off if we start "stealing" their weaponthanes by offering better terms.

I don't think this scene was in any other LP! I think it's a new one for this Steam version (which is based off the Android version) Anyways, Pay 5 cows. That's the normal ransom.

Of course you don't have any food, it's the middle of summer. You've mostly eaten up the reserves you've had since last year. Once Earth season rolls around you'll collect the food for this year. Although even then, at most, you will have just enough. Why does the clan have so many people anyway, was that from the search for farmers? Because good lord, 1000 people is a lot.

We got like 200 people from it, more than half of them worthless children. Also, stop trading our horses away. Christ. Bit less than custom demands. With little lucky it will improve our relations and the amount we lose isn't big.

The only farming blessings you need is Earthblood and Summons of Evil. Water the crops with gore and watch them bumper harvests roll in.
