It's not just a cutscene, there is actually a sidequest chain tied to the wandering MB soldiers and you'll get more cassettes out of it.

I wish you could see your camouflage % ala mgs3.. unless that's an upgrade you can get. Does wearing something bulky like the big shield increase your visibility?

Yeah, I have been thinking of switching it off (at least until I try to do S ranks for the reason you mentioned) because it kinda trivializes a lot of the stealth and marks when anyone noticing you just gets a slow motion tranq dart to the face. Here's your reminder that you can switch out buddies at any time time during gameplay, it's in the same menu as the choppers so i don't know how i completely missed it, but there you go. I wish i had known this before taking DD and only DD into Mission 12 Huey's Cross Country African Triathlon Adventure, starring Diamond Dog!

my helicopter had a cliff above it, where my D-horse was. So when the helicopter took off the blades hit Dhorse and Dhorse went into the atmosphere.

It's 3k a pop but considering how much GMP you can rake in between the Outer Ops,the side missions and selling weapon emplacements it's never really an issue.

Edit: ^^^ Oh sweet, a reason to fulton emplacements! Do you just get the one chance to customize your emblem? I did it once but now for the life of me I can't find the option again. I'm hoping not because I did something dumb initially but with more names/emblem parts unlocked I feel I could make it much dumber.

So how does the Ground Zeroes stuff you earn transfer over to Phantom Pain? I read somewhere that there was an app for it but I'd guess that is for the consoles only and the PC version is transferable from the start menu? (i bought the game just before the preorder thingy went away)

Reflex is cool, but the time dilation really seems to mess with my jive and make me play stupid. Not that I am playing great right now, it's just one of those crutches that you immediately start to lean on once you turn it back on, and I am having the most fun hanging around a corner with that little anxiety that things are going to get really nasty if I'm not careful. It's fun, especially since you're not so heavily penalized for the alarms. Really, the biggest detriment is it makes getting fultons/resources difficult. Having said that, I hope you like going loud, because it is REALLY difficult to sneak without reflex. At least for a while. You'll figure it out, but some of the bigger outposts are a nightmare to perfect stealth. e: despite that, it is a HUGE incentive to use all of your tools. I just realized a mission I did last night probably would have been WAY easier if I just did it while it was dark, instead of high noon.  Clearly the incentive isn't quite strong enough.
