Man spergs is embarassing as poo poo. I love it! Speaking of TH8 upgrades, it's really burning me out. I'm thinking about taking a break, joining a casual clan, and letting my poo poo pile up for a little while. I have had 2 builders free for a few days now, no research going, and another builder opening tonight. Too busy to barch and I keep getting raided for ~200k each. Life sucks  The dragon war armies are feeling REALLY expensive now.

I feel you on the TH8 grind. I got my mortars done and the first level of wizard towers and canons. A couple of archer towers to their first upgrade too. Barbarians, Archers and Wizards are all level 5. But I am sick of looking at pink walls, so I am dumping everything into them now. My builders will soon be idle as slowly grind another 30m elixir and/or gold for my welfare walls.

Not an option. Due to Reasons I could potentially receive actually-important messages at 5 am, which is also why it's loud enough to wake me up. If there's just no way to turn it off, that's pretty lovely. Guess I'm done with this game.

For Android, you just have to disable notifications for the app. I would imagine iOS has a similar function.

No Sound/No Notifications is the only way to play this game. I watched a youtube video recently and I forgot how ridiculous the audio is for this game. The Clan Castle song, EVERY. loving. TIME. is a little excessive.

Enjoy the death machines that are wizard level 5 and just grind it out to the next lab upgrade, they all feel insanely expensive.

Ignoring the fact that this war attack conversation is stupid. Why in the world would you care if someone can attack more than 5 higher and can 2-3 star them? Why do you limit them to just +5(or 6-7)? I will frequently head into the low 20's and high teens for an attack with better war reward (as a mid 30). This whole conversation seems pretty drat stupid.

BECAUSE the statistical model clearly shows that the probability of obtaining more than one star when attempting to attack a base with a 1.6 coefficient respective to your level is below two sigmas of the targeted confidence level and will over the long run result in lost wars. God, do I have to spell it all out for you!? Someone illustrate this with Bollinger bands please for these plebes.

On a basic level matchmaking can skew TH levels against your clan by more than 5, your stupid rule is already hindering people. Outside of MM concerns, you can often see bases >10 places up the roster that are very vulnerable to what you are strong in, eg a gapless base to your well-levelled hogs, or an otherwise strong base with weak AA coverage that will fall to balloonion. Under your silly rule, that is apparently so good transgressors should be recommended suicide, that possibility is nixed. Your rule is basically not founded in logic, practice, reason or an understanding of how MM works. Much like Adolf, you're telling your people to be afraid of something that is actually beneficial to them. It's one level of embarrassment to sperg-hard over clash, it's another entirely to do so and get it so badly wrong. gently caress off.
