owling furies.

Craven Idol's third album, Forked Tongues is out today. Nazzadan might throw it in his usual friday-release-roundup, but I enjoyed it enough to atleast throw it out here already, why not listen to it on bandcamp?

also I hadn't known I needed a clarinet in my blackened thrash up until I heard Demoniac.

no, not the one you are thinking of, I mean the Chilean Demoniac.

Do yourselves a favor and check out 200 Stab Wounds or Sanguisugabogg if they're coming to your area. Just straight-up moshpit slamming action in a live setting. What an excellent first show back since the pandemic began.

It's loving crazy seeing 4 possible dates I could have made of one tour, and I settled on one of the last shows in Columbus on December 11th, which is a Saturday. Hell yeah.

Haven't heard anything yet. I know when it first got cancelled word was it would be rescheduled. But the shut downs lasted a long time. I think a big thing is I think Rippikoulu has to deal with vacation time so now at least one of their members has to deal with getting time off from work again. I think that might be one deciding factor. Still so bummed that got axed so close to the tour dates. There was also a possibly of us playing a fest in Europe(and hopefully shows around it) but not sure when that would be possible again.

I'm at least excited to play a show again for the first time in like two years in a few weeks, and its like 20 tickets from selling out so it should be sick.

He absolutely is, also as well as being a much more interesting and dynamic vocalist than Barnes, he is also far less cringe.

I'm really bummed. Got to see Metal Church back in 2016 and Mike sounded awesome, and so did the new music they wrote. It seemed like they could have gone on for a lot longer. RIP another legendary voice

Yeah, that really hits me hard. Slipknot was the band for me around their first 2 albums, that feels like a million years ago.

He was one hell a drummer.

Yeah that sucks. Cant say I liked anything from them since Vol 3, but they were the giant gateway drug for me into other stuff, not the least due to him drumming. Iowa I still enjoy, as cheesy as it can be. Self titled got some extremely fun and weird percussion too, that just made me fall in love back then, cause it sounded so different at times.
