Usually voter turnout in this sort of thing is really low and 20-30% or so of overall votes is enough to decide the result. This vote is probably not typical though, as it’s been extremely well publicised and there’s a lot of people who own Tesla shares because they got sucked into the cult of Elon and they might be quite motivated to vote for his compo.

Elon Musk owns 13% of Tesla which sounds like it'd be a pretty significant amount in this case but apparently isn't allowed to vote on this which is extremely funny and probably makes him so mad

Surely voting here is based on vote share and so all the small scale cult of Elon holders will be outweighed by the standard financial orgs with much larger holdings. I could have seen an argument that they'd vote to approve to avoid a Musk tantrum risking their investment but given a number are coming out and saying they'll vote No....
