Kerr-Nau is worth getting just because you'll run a fair few Nexus, though I recommend using the Pneumarch as a Nexus as well. gently caress the Samaritan.

Played a more experienced guy today and fished a few Crits that got him in a bit of a salty mood. What's the trick to bringing things back down when someone feels like the games wronged them. Turned into a bit of a rush to get things done with because the game was "over"

If it's a friendly game that hasn't gone on too long the best choice may be to just start over. Honestly, rattle cans and a broad flat brush with some craft paints are all you need to paint terrain half way decently. This is a building that I designed and lasercut myself then painted largely with spraypaint. I had a can of orange and puke green from Montana Gold and the gray is either straight Rustoleum primer or Rustoleum Primer with Tamiya Fine Surface Primer sprayed from about 3 feet above the piece for the speckle effect. I brushed the brown facades and then gave everything a wash with transparent burnt umber ink from Liquitex.    The building was already glued together (prototyping, yay) so I didn't bother to get every face of the facades or walls but this took like... 2 hours, tops? Just spray paint, that's all I do for my MDF terrain. BlackIronHeart that looks a lot like Aussie crowd bplaser stuff. I need to steal the base idea you both have. It's a great example of simple colours used effectively tho.
