yay esteban's going to be okay! On cat demeanor during vet visits; the veterinary cardiologist said that Trevor is the best behaved patient she's ever had. Oscar is ungroomable; we're going to the vet tomorrow to get mats removed. I expect them to sedate him.

Here are the cattes I am watching this week. This is Patch and Jack. Patch is very rambunctious and loves bothering the other cattes all day. Jack is a fatte catte and is very skittish around new people.  There's one of Patch alone, I sprung that partial trap.  This is Lola, she is very friendly and I think she and Jack might be related because they look very similar. Fun fact I though this was Jack when I first took this picture.  This is Maurice, a.k.a. the Joker, he loves pets and currently has a cold.  Hazel you are not a catte get out of here   This is Lacy, a.k.a. Tripod, she is also very skittish and has not come out of the basement since we got here   Finally here is a picture of Jack lounging right before Patch attacks his tail. All of these cattes are rescues except maybe Patch (and Hazel).

Elmer has a new trick where he puts his paws up on people to demand pets. Well today he took it a step further and straight up Jumped from the ground onto vanillaslmfast's chest 5 feet straight up without warning.

so when I talked to the dr at 8am, she told me that esteban was looking good, and that if nothing changes (which it didn't), that I'd be looking at an additional $700-800 for the rest of his stay (original discharge saturday afternoon). When I went in at 4pm she said she took a chest x-ray to see if he had fluid in his lungs because he was breathing all weird, but he's just anxious and wants to go home. anyone want to throw out some guesses as to what that final bill will be? already paid a cool grand.
