There's definitely risk of that happening, it's why he's being paid 10 million instead of 15-16 million per year.

If last week is any indication, he honestly played even better after his contract extension, which is usually not how that goes.

It's weird how the Dolphins WR all blend together for me over the years as guys who are JAGs in most games, but turn it on whenever they play New England. Parker, Hartline, Chambers. I curse them.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but it's just so many things. 1. Signing Bell to a large contract, only to hire a coach that doesn't want him and immediately fire the GM that made the deal. 2. Employing a coach that just can't seem to figure out how to make Le'Veon Bell a productive back. 3. Likely selling the player at the nadir of his value, possibly even having to eat additional costs to make a trade work. 4. Having the head coach inexplicably make a snippy remark about the player, unnecessarily agitating him, giving catnip to the tabloids, and possibly deterring future free agents from signing. Just a completely undisciplined, dysfunctional operation.

I again say that I would love Bell on the Dolphins. Never happen, but a man can dream, and Gase might be the only coach arrogant enough to actually trade a good player within the division

Thad Lewis beat the Dolphins twice in the same season. The only wins of his career. One win puts the Dolphins in the playoffs. Cry me a river, at least Chris Chambers was decent.

A lot of the Jets beat seems very confident that the Jets aren’t really interested in trading Bell or, at least, that they don’t want to eat a bunch of salary to get a deal done. Just an example: https://twitter.com/connor_j_hughes/status/1211812473348734977?s=21 I tend to think actions speak louder than words, ie if Gase wanted Bell, he would scheme the offense accordingly. But who the gently caress knows with this organization.

Would he though? It took Darnold going into Gase's office and saying "here's what works, here's what doesn't for me" halfway through November for Gase to even think of tailoring his offense towards Darnold. I feel like Gase has his gameplan/offense, and if anything goes wrong it's because the players didn't Execute.

I hadn’t seen this mentioned anywhere so I looked it up Dolphins win yesterday was the biggest upset since 1995. I figured Bills/Vikings last year would have been bigger but that was 17 and Pats/Phins was 17.5 (opened at 15.5)

Wait, so is the implication that Manish created a ridiculous, pro-Gase burner account in order to generate a "Does Gase have a burner account??" story? That should absolutely end his career if so.

The Jets beat has been weirdly openly critical of Manish the past week or so, since the burner story ran. It has to be related. First, they criticized him for not showing up to the presser the day after the story posted: https://twitter.com/mikevacc/status/1210355764608557059?s=21 Cimini posted this tweet tonight, which seems pretty clear to me given the context: https://twitter.com/richcimini/status/1211817880075018241?s=21 Finally, and best of all, the Jets beat went out to dinner before the Bills game and explicitly excluded Manish: https://twitter.com/connor_j_hughes/status/1211110318128148480?s=21 What I’m saying is that I love the Jets offseason.
