Strategy 1 - Maximum tactical aptitude. If we can cast Charm on everyone beforehand so we can actually control all their spells, so much the better. Weave protect your CPU. Party composition: Kagain the Undying - a sturdy dwarf to take the hits Kivan the Arrowstorm - to rain pointy death upon our foes Coran the Showstopper - for Web, stun arrows and general crowd control Minsc the Mad Man Mountain - butt-kicking (and cutting people in half with giant swords) for goodness! Imoen the Quick - because she's our and of course Syvishtar the Murdermage

While 1 is probably the best idea overall ( especially if you lead with another group of summons to distract the first volly of spells and exploding arrows ) its not nearly good enough at murdering party members I dislike. Therefor Strategy 3 2 Minsc, 2 Viconia, 1 Imoen

Looks like I finally caught up with this thread just in time! Strategy 1 5 votes for Squirrel because who better to accompany us on our descent into madness?

Okay, party votes first: Imoen, Indira, Keiria, Minsc, Finch. Second, I vote for option #1 for our strategy. I'm tempted to vote for #4, and I absolutely believe Syv can pull it off, but Imoen should be there.

Strategy 1, and since I've but one vote, Imoen.

Strategy 2, since I want as many characters as possible to survive into the next part of the game. All 5 votes to Finch.

Strategy 1! As for the party members, 3 votes for Edwin, 1 vote for Minsc, and 1 vote for Imoen. EDIT: Got to keep the classics alive, they have dialogue and plotlines and everything! Skelicopter fucked around with this message at 20:15 on Jan 28, 2014 |

Strategy 3 sounds hilarious. It's the ending this LP has earned! Also spending all 8 votes to keep Khalid from being the first to be fed into the meat grinder. Edit: Meaning +8 to him that is since least popular would go first in Strategy 3.

Darthemed posted:Strategy 2, since I want as many characters as possible to survive into the next part of the game. If that's the case then you should be voting strategy 4, which guarantees that all characters will survive. I feel that's a little too gentle though, and honestly, a good percentage of these characters get little to no airtime as it stands. Which is fine, because they're boring as hell. What's more, BG2 has plenty of new NPCs to come. I'm therefore going to vote for the Meatgrinder (Strategy 3). I'll add my character votes later.

Strategy 3 - there will be plenty more companions in bg2 - we could do with culling a few of the weaker, less worthy members. Plus it'll be awesome! I'll use my 6 votes for Edwin.

I couldn't decide which tactical option sounded more hilarious, so I rolled a d10, and hereby vote for Option 1. drat you, Chaos. My three party member votes are: 1 to Imoen, because it just isn't BG without her; 1 to Squirrel, as our titular Spirit Mascot; and 1 to our coolest, most badass recruit of all: Black Bear. Zeratanis posted:My one question: you plan to temple your rep back up a bit so the good members don't stomp off upon kicking them out? Would be a bit unfortunate. I realize that I didn't yet answer this. I will. In fact, I've done this already in my preparations for equipping every character. Along with sorting all of the equipment one last time and making sure the game is as lag-free as possible. (Having this much equipment existing in the world makes processor lag.) Haystack posted:Would it be possible to pause the game, teleport everyone into the boss room via editing, and then start things back up? Imoen because we need our BFF. Kivan for maximum pincushion. Squirrel. If I have to explain why, the reason is lost on you. Yeslick because we need his divine beard of healing and smiting. Finch because we need an adorable healer. Also, I'm going with Option 3 for maximum schadenfreude.

I like Strategy 3, but I don't know how feasible it would be, so Strategy 1 it is. Firebead - he's a high-level mage that I doubt the AI will utilize properly, and he's been such an integral part of the team. Branwen - it's just not the same without our old flame. Lady Seafoam, Black Bear, Squirrel - if they die, we can just get new ones and pretend nothing's happened. Pizdec fucked around with this message at 11:08 on Jan 29, 2014 |

jeez, I don't even know where to start with this... 3 votes each for squirrel and bear I guess. Strategy? Well, you're the avatar of the weave, and son of the lord of murder, and the golden company are sort of like your disciples, right? Sooo stand in the back throwing wild magic like a crazy person, while your top disciples engage Saverok. If one of your disciples falls, he/she/it is immediately replaced by the ranks of the remaining followers. Can you do that?
