And then at the beginning of the next season he'll get his rear end kicked by a trainer who just got his Rowlet the day before. Such is life.

That explains his entire current team.

I think it's nice that the main character isn't necessarily the best at things. And that the Team Rocket three are only circumstantially evil. Basically I like the cartoon, everything is fun and good and adorable.

Yeah type match ups don't matter at all in the show so it would be dumb to criticize someone for type choices. The first gym he ever goes to he one shots a geodude with thundershock because he hooks Pikachu up to a water wheel last night, then brings a Onix to its knees by shorting the sprinkler system.

RealFoxy posted:I think Ashe has some kind of mental block on his life. Both for not picking up on how to flirt and not picking up on how to battle Pokemon what, you've never run a horribly imbalanced team before? It doesn't really matter as long as you have some attack type coverage. Unless you're playing D/P/Pt, and then you will lose to Cynthia. fuckin' Cynthia. speaking of imbalanced teams, just booted up my copy of White 2 for the first time in ages, and apparently I was doing a Poison type run, with Drapion, Crobat, Muk, Seviper, Amoonguss, and Scolipede. what a wonderful team. Seviper doesn't seem to be pulling its weight though, and I think I just really wanted to use Seviper despite having better options. inexplicably, its Special Attack is slightly higher than its Attack, and it knows Flamethrower. Think I'm going to transfer the whole team over to White to save them for posterity, and do a new Monotype run. I think I already did a Grass type run once upon a time, so what type should I do next? No type is off limits, if it's Dragon or Ghost I'll make some eggs in White.

Evolving is like +5/+3 (I think) happiness depending, so it'll get them pretty close, but you may also need to run around a bit to finish it off.

You can do a happiness evolution entirely through levelups, you just have to make sure the Pokemon doesn't also have a daytime or nighttime requirement.

No one knows yet, but my best guess is that the base stat total are the same (otherwise one would be superior to the other), but the stats would be shuffled. It is mentioned that Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash have a a hard shell that makes them more durable but slower then the Ground-type Sandshrew and Sandslash.
