I've done this streaming in-home to my phone using Moonlight and adding the "mstsc.exe" to the list of programs and it worked great.

I bought Nite Team 4 and played a bit and its.....ehhhhhh?

I bought it because I love Uplink and Hacknet, and it just feels off.

Now granted, I've only completed the "academy" and the first story "campaign" but so far it feels extremely restrictive and handholdy. The (poorly) voice handlers literally walk you through the missions step by step and I was hoping the game would be a bit more freeform. Do later campaigns open up a bit more?

Also, this is a minor nitpick and sounds silly coming from someone who liked Hacknet and Uplink, but the UI is waaay too gamey. The fact that I have to open a different shell just to run one command was also a very strange choice. I'm gaining exp and levels like its an RPG but they don't seem to unlock anything?

Also, what is going on with the company that made this game? I noticed the latest update was all about removing google analytics and facebook analytics from the game (why were they there in the FIRST PLACE?!?) but also the company seems more like a marketing firm that makes ARGs and games are a side project? The steam discussion forum for the game is completely locked, there's been no updates on twitter. Are they still in business?

The whole thing feels weirdly unfinished and unfocused, like the devs set out to make a hacking game and ended up with something else.

It doesn't have the slowmo but the Selaco demo is really trying hard to ape FEAR otherwise. It's very good.

I'm just salty that they posted a trailer a week or two ago that said, "Demo available now!" and then the demo never came to Steam lol.

Did you buy it? How is the performance? I heard it was quite bad on the Switch so I never bought it there, have been waiting for the PC port.

Yeah, it was great, but with the way they iterate on these games, the next one is gonna be amazing. It's a weirdly perfect evolution of the series, they've always been RPGs and this helps them do even more ridiculous things with the formula.

So if I wanted to play a Disgaea game other than 6 (because gently caress paying $70), would people recommend 5? I haven't played one since the first game.

That's not even the series I was talking about, but yes, actually. The Disgaea games are very light on plot connections, it usually amounts to cameos. They all work as standalone things, and 5 is a good one. Fun characters and plot, and not too difficult to exploit the systems and break the game if you do a little research.

4 is my favorite because it has the best cast, but disgaea isn't really a story heavy game and 5 has is usually considered the best mechanically

The PC version is perfect, performance is really good and they did a good job with the port. This is what the game should have been from the start.

The art style is still a considerable downgrade from the sprites and mechanically it's a big step back from 5 though.

Honestly I'd recommend anybody play 5 over 6.

I'm totally fine with the swap to 3D. The sprites never did a whole lot for me.

Still waiting to replace my GPU but I'll probably grab it sooner than later. It's weird that DOTA runs at a solid 80+ FPS on integrated graphics but then the various 2D card battlers I've been playing are like 15-20 FPS

there's going to be another big itch.io bundle, this one for reproductive rights, being curated by the folks at DreadXP (publisher of Spookware, Dread Delusion, Sucker for Love and the DreadXP anthologies). the full versions of Fatum Betula and Sucker For Love: First Date will be part of it, but not Dread Delusion (it literally just launched, so, I get it).

what separates DreadXP's bundle from the Palestine, BLM and Ukraine bundles is that DreadXP is vetting the games and not just letting everything in, which is fair, because in the past some games were submitted without the permission of the developer/publisher by a third party, and other games would be submitted under the guise of being a premium game, only to actually secretly be a free game with a temporary price change. they aren't concerned about repeats, though. they also aren't allowing adult-only content, but some of their anthology games are in the bundle, which are definitely M-rated, so I guess they just mean no porn. That's an interesting decision given the topic at hand, so I wonder if they'll later backtrack on that or if they'll hold firm.

it'll be running from July 1st through the 15th.

submissions so far: Sucker for Love: First Date, Sagebrush, Fatum Betula, Whispering Willows, Location Withheld, Elephantasy, Polymute, Mummy Sandbox, and several DreadXP anthology titles like Hand of Doom, Black Relic, Undiscovered.

Not really, it was a map editor / sharing system people used to turbo grind IIRC

No, it was just some map editor cross-play sort of stuff that you'll never miss. If people used the map editor to turbo grind it was unnecessary, there are resources to do that in game.

Also some of the DLC characters make grinding better thanks to their passives, so you'd already grind better than people with the base game alone (if you end up doing the grinding thing, you don't really have to for most of the content).

The cheapest price on isthereanydeal for Chivalry 2 right now is on a key reseller called "etail.market": https://usa.etail.market/chivalry-2-steam. Anyone have an opinion on this site? I've bought a lot of Steam keys off resellers over the years without problems but thought I would ask since I haven't seen this one before.

e: after posting this i did what i probably should have done earlier and searched on reddit, and some people were complaining about the site taking several hours or up to a day to send them the key. Ok, a little disappointing, but potentially waiting until tomorrow for 7 dollars cheaper still seems like a pretty good deal.

That site is probably legit, but lol at their user agreements, privacy policy, refund policy, etc.

Yes they are authorized sellers. They buy their keys from publishers/devs directly and have agreements with them.
A key reseller, like cdkeys or g2a is a site that either buys keys, or whose users buy keys, and resell them as second hand goods. These sites offer less buyer protection and also in some cases are involved either directly or indirectly in criminal activity. Not every seller on those sites is, but there's no reliable way to know as a purchaser.
