Sold 135 of NDRA earlier for a smooth 25 bux profit, these were the 2.38x shares. The rest are 2.24X, so I am much more comfortable, I didn't pick the top but got out when I felt it was going down. I'll buy back in later, put a stop on for my shares I still hold and take profit. For GME, the WSB and other weirdo rumor was that the hedges were hiding shorts in ETFS by going long in the market on the stocks in it and then shorting the ETF or some such BS. e; ETFS that held GME, they shorted the ETF and bought all the other stocks but GME Michael Corleone fucked around with this message at 18:08 on Feb 25, 2021 |

Is a Wash Sale an issue when it's a negligible amount? I understand the part of the penalty where they can't be used as capital losses, what I'm curious about is if there are any other rules like with PDT or GFV or whatever that could put real limitations on my trading if I have too many strikes. Basically, trading some SPACs around this week has made a wash sale warning appear on my account to the tune of 17 cents. I guess what I'm asking is, are all wash sales to be avoided or am I fine to not give a poo poo when it's an insignificant number compared to my portfolio and taxes overall?

I am barely touching a toe in the water RE: crypto but if they successfully file and based on the numbers they are putting out it does show that there is some mainstream future for cryptocurrencies.
