Pretty sure it's just that you can't broadcast to twitch and another site simultaneously. There's plenty of people that stream on youtube and twitch on separate days.

That said, it doesn't apply to the Affiliate program, which is much more common than full on partnership.

Yeah, I think you can negotiate around it but I have no idea how to go about that. It looks like ESA Winter is starting up as well, with a ... 20 hour pre-show run of Skies of Arcadia? I kinda skipped the last ESA event due to what they pulled with Punchy and KZ_Frew and frankly not super keen on watching now either, but I will probably check out a few runs here and there. I ended up pulling my two runs from ESA Summer Online on account of that retaliation. Not sure when I want to submit again. Schedule looks pretty OK, though, definitely some quality runs and runners here.

I found out semi recently ESA put a whole bunch of phrases related to me and how people used to harass me on their host/donation blacklist, so it's nice to know they always had the capacity to do something about it and just chose not to until after throwing me under the bus, at which point it sorta stops mattering. Not to be overly dramatic or nothing, but I've wound up drifting away from a lot of people over it all just because I sort of passively distrust anyone who continues to openly associate with ESA especially if I know that they know what went down because it communicates that my being lied to, harassed by attendees and abused by the event staff's collective indifference over a period of years means less to them than some fleeting spotlight from a pretty middling production. It's not that I think they're explicitly bad people or anything, it's just...difficult to open up to them with that in my mind. anyway have fun ha ha

I don’t follow the scene enough to know the backstory but I’m sorry you got harassed, punchy. It’s a bummer that ESA is no good - I live in southern Sweden these days and was looking forward to checking out their events. I do love that all the alternative streams are popping up in the wake of all the inclusion issues the big events are having, though.

i find it a bit freaky that everyone so readily seems to have just glossed over Jobst's at best, complicitness in Goose's awfulness and at worst active agreement with it like well done speedrun scene you successfully outed a chud after years of people yelling about it and it being super obvious. but then you just let someone else who is for most purposes identical take his place. cool. nothing actually improved. This thread is actually the only place I've seen that's regularly on the ball with pointing it out, everywhere else attempting it's difficult to even broach the topic let alone get people to respond to it
