Ignore the fact you have a sting ray. Ive been trying to kit out with ink saver sub, but I feel like I could get similar results with ink refill.

Stingray has it's uses, but it's something you need to feel out. It's good for hitting the rainmaker bubble/tower from long distances, and situational area denial. You can pick up some kills once you get the hang of it. Ink saving skills are useful for the sloshing machine, as you're going to be shooting a lot. Both sub and main are useful, since the bomb takes up so much ink as is. Right now I'm running... Head with Swim Speed + 3x Ink Saver (Bomb) Chest with Run Speed + 3x Bomb Defense Feet with Ink Saver Sub + 3x Ink Saver (Main)

I always get so hyped leading up to Splatfests. I just have to turn off my tryhard switch since I'm def going to be using that new Splattershot Pro, and a.) I've been cheating the concept of aiming properly for the last month with the Tri-Slosher and Rapid Blaster meta, and b.) Splattershot Pro isn't really the greatest for Turf War. Win or lose, I'm still gonna get 20+ snails to keep in my private aquarium and NOT give to that cute lil midget bastard who is just going to shuck and eat them.

For some reason the sloshing machine is impossible for me to use in the reef despite it being really good in most of the other maps. I guess it will have to sit back for this Splatfest...
