Thanks to everyone who dropped in to the Solidarity Fund meeting. We had a really good discussion and nailed down a decent sketch of how this could look. Notes of the meeting have been taken and are pinned up in the solidarity channel on Discord for anybody who would like to take a look. The fund will be run by a 5-person committee (with potential to increase in size in needed) to authorise pay-outs with a separate account manager actually running the bank account for the fund. The next step will be to decide on the committee members which will be decided by a democratic vote of all UKMT goons. If you would like to put yourself forward for the committee please let me know by personal message either on SA or on Discord. As it's the holidays the nomination period closes at the end of the year. Voting will take place in the new year. Also we think we may need legal advice on this before we set up the actual bank account. Are there any goons who would be able to help with this? (Borrovan, Beefeater1990, Necrothatcher, your names were suggested specficially?)

I legit posted a christmas card to jezza thanking him and trying to reassure him that his efforts have re-energised the left despite the election defeat and telling him to have a loving brandy and chill for a few weeks lol Feels like a small thing, but given how I feel right now I can only imagine the little things will make a big difference to the guy

I don't know why we don't just mandate desk workers wear a rectal hose so we can collect their farts and sell them as a revenue stream. Any methane produced on company time is ours. Read your contract! Edit: Oh, and any oxygen consumed on company property comes out of your paycheque!
