I don't know if it's a scam like the quoted (bottom embed) ones, but I'm not sure WHY they'd advertise on Twitter given most of those folks are elsewhere.

Al! posted:accidentally tapped on an ad and discovered something wonderful These endless online stores is what got me to uninstall the twitter app, kicking third party twitter apps off is what got me to stop looking at twitter on my phone, the dog thing was enough for me to just deactivate all together. I dunno how the actual financials of offsetting advertisers with a subscription cost, but it still baffles me that at multiple points in time i would have jumped to pay for twitter blue if it gave you zero promoted tweets. This "half ads" thing which is still not even available is so unappealing.
