This is impressive and it's hard to believe this is a guy with multiple serious leg injuries.

I didn't expect him to look this good, especially after the injuries. He's been great. Payne slingshotting 3-pointers is just a fun wrinkle in the Bulls experience.

I am thankful Kawhi will get the gently caress out of Toronto once he experiences winter because I don’t want to face that team in the East after this year.

It seems like it's been a century of waiting for AD and Giannis to really break out and do all the things Zach Lowe said they could do.

I'm glad the Bucks have a real coach and are playing to Giannis's strengths. Brook Lopez scoring 20 points and getting zero rebounds is something special. Tony Snell is not an NBA player. Khris Middleton does everything needed.

I'm glad the Pelicans have become a terror.

I'm glad that Jordan Kawhi is back and all the intriguing wing/bigs of Toronto are playing well.

And of course I'm glad the pistons are riding iso-blake to one point wins over the dregs of the league.

Kevin Love might be the ultimate albatross. So far 136 minutes and a WS of 0.1 I know he is slow and fat but this is not good as the Cavaliers owe him at least $145,000,000 in the next few years.

Curry has started the season nearly on his 2016 pace of best scoring start in league history. That was the year they lost in the finals so Curry might slow things down to avoid that happening again.

50 on sub .500 free throw shooting is Wilt Chamberlain poo poo. Well other than the fact Wilt would have 10 more boards.

Wilt did it 25 times. Now BG joins him as the only other to do it.

Does defense exist as a thing?

Butler has a higher BPM, PER and WS/48. LaVine appears to not outwardly loathe his teammates and has not yet broken a All-NBA Big man. I don't know how to reconcile these data points.

Perhaps the next Adrian Dantley. If he can score 30+ points efficiently in the next consecutive games it would be serious historical scoring. Most 30+ point games to start season:

code:
Player Season #
Wilt Chamberlain	1962-63 22
Wilt Chamberlain	1959-60 8
Jack Twyman 1959-60 7
Marques Johnson 1978-79 6
Michael Jordan 1986-87 6
Oscar Robertson 1965-66 6

Magic Johnson: LeBron, people will come LeBron. They'll come to STAPLES Center for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up South Figueroa Street not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive as innocent as children, longing for the past. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, you'll say. It's only $10,000 per person. They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the luxury suites; sit in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along the courtside, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come LeBron. The one constant through all the years, LeBron, has been basketball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But basketball has marked the time. This court, this game: it's a part of our past, LeBron. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh...people will come LeBron. People will most definitely come.

LeBron James:

If Zach LaVine finishes as the #2 scorer behind Curry this year I will be pleased.
