They're way too good for Valois. They need their own revolter tag in france.

I think Valois was actually in the modern-day French department of Picardy. Though Picard is historically also spoken in a small part of modern-day Wallonia, Walloon is a separate language. I love the idea of giving the Walloon rooster an axe, though. Sort of evens the odds against the Flemish lion.

That's looking great, Wiz. Didn't expect the Italian minors in the north from the CK map. Are they all duchies or is genoa and venice still republics?

All the vassals of Italy (Milan, Genoa, Mantua, Parma, Venice) are Duchies.

Where did the Timurids come from?

It hasn't gotten a lot of attention in this LP, but the Low Countries look exciting. Brabant and Flanders are going to be pretty powerful, and the area is a lot more unified than historically in 1400. The first two will probably be among the most powerful in the HRE, taking a back seat only to Burgundy.

Will there be any sort of indication, like in the thread title or something, of when the LP starts again so those of us who aren't interested don't have to sift through hundreds of pages of flagchat?

It's kind of funny how Burgundy would have had something like 8 fewer provinces with the pre-DW map. Switzerland and NW Italy got an rear end ton more provinces (though IIRC they mostly went from being really high to middling-low tax so it's not as unbalanced as it sounds)

Bright day Wiz, I am sorry for being "That Guy", but could you rename the Bohemian provinces? Or at least Sudety with actual Sudetenland being in NW part of my country? To Sumava or Bohmerwald? Historicaly those areas were: Erz- Loketský, Žatecký and Litoměřický region (or shire) (source: "Dějiny správy v českých zemích" (History of governance in czech lands), Zdeňka Hledíková, Jan Janák, Jan Dobeš. Nakladatelství Lidové noviny. Praha. 2007.). And Sudety- Plzeňský, Prácheňský and Bechyňský region (source: ditto) Once more my apologies, but at least once I am in the place to say it.

MadPierrot posted:Franconia: If we want something more involved, the territory controlled by Franconia could consist of the Burgraviate of Nuremberg, the territories of the bishoprics of Würzburg and Bamberg and the Palatinate. Curiously enough, it's not listed among the bishoprics in Wiz' CK wrapup, so it seems to be a secular realm now. Wiz, which dynasty is ruling Franconia?

So who will be electors in the HRE? Are you going to keep the 3 spiritual/4 secular split?

Gladi posted:Bright day Yeah, the province of Sudetenland is way off both geographically and historically and Erz is a stupid name (it should be Erzgebirge, Erz just means ore). But it is hardly a big deal, considering the focus of the LP. Suitable and somewhat recognizable names could be Böhmerwald or Pilsen. Erz might be called Liberec / Reichenberg.
