How do Rebels work these days?

Blizzard isnt quite the current hotness but basically what spinster said. Rebels are either dependent on specific combos to survive or just plain fragile, but they tend to have good mobility and/or offense while being pretty cheap

A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs.

I just picked up Rebels with the core set and the Echo Base Defenders set. I need a Star Wars game and X-Wing is basically dead here, Shatterpoint never lived, and I'd rather die than play a collectible card game.

What's the best thing to get after I get these painted? Han? T-47?

Han is a good one, he's good with either EBD or generic rebels. Operative Luke is good if you like playing Luke, he comes with a couple extra command cards either version can use. One or two Rebel Specialists packs for the generic officer unit will go well in a lot of lists. If you want to move out of EBD you'll want some commandos and/or ewok slingers for cheap padding. Other than that it basically just depends on what you think is cool- the t47 is kinda second tier (stromg offense and mobility but it relies on timing to not get shot and a lot of lists cant reliably get it orders) but it's definitely fun to zoom around with

Police Assault In Progress
Finally cleaning up some backlog and getting a starter set fixed up and painted. I have a few extras for my side - an extra group of snowtroopers and two operatives - but my wife needs some extra folks for the rebellion. For some reason I can't find anyone who just lists every single available unit for the factions - even atomic mass doesn't list everything. Does anyone have a resource for this so I can help pick out some Rebel aligned operatives?

Tabletop Admiral or one of the other army builder sites will list everything for obvious reasons.

5th trooper list builder is my preferred one, but probably largely because it’s the first one I ever came across :v:

I took a quick look and that has some fan units in the builder. Might not be the most obvious for someone looking for what units they can buy.
