Does Disney+ show more mature content in other countries? In the U.S. they only do PG-13 and lower stuff.

Yeah, Disney+ in Europe gets a lot of adult Hulu stuff under the Stars banner. Not all of it, mind, stuff like Letterkenny is still MIA but I should still stop paying for Hulu.

Anyone who liked the Vampire:The Masquerade IRL bits of this and would be interested in a more serious take should take a look at midnight mass on Netflix. It’s really good.

Harvey landed a recurring role in the new Reacher series as the quirky/nerdy coroner who the protagonists can always rely on for help, looks like he found a lucrative niche playing the 'timid but macabre' dude. https://www.instagram.com/p/CZhWzFWpl7c/

So I hosed up and somehow managed to watch the last episode of Tinseltown first, then the second, and finally the first. Only realized something was off when I went to watch episode two and saw I'd already done so. Here I thought they were going all clever showing us where he ends up and then doing a flashback to how he got there, smh. Loving it so far, regardless.

I wonder what happened first - did Berry land the robobutler voice job and they spun it into Tinseltown or did he get the gig because someone at Disney caught wind of the plot and made it happen.

It's got to be the former, surely. The new star wars especially are starting to get a bit of stable of the 'british comedy scene post Big Train (not specifically that but the types of comedy which came out of it)' cast, and Taika Waititi's now involved as well.

There's a history of comedians in Star Wars since The Phantom Menace cast Peter Serafinowicz, Greg Proops and Steve Speirs. Seth Green and Simon Pegg were in The Clone Wars. Pegg also in Force Awakens, as was Bill Hader and Ben Schwartz. Jeff Garlin was in Rise of Skywalker. Horatio Sanz, Brian Posehn, Eugene Cordero, Asif Ali were also in Mandalorian. I'm sure there are others I'm missing.

If you’ve not seen it, the Laser Moon stuff on their YouTube channel is the highlight. It takes like.. 2-3 years for new episodes to drop but they’re always great. C-3PO somehow becomes the best character in Star Wars!

Everyone here should watch Our Flag Means Death on HBO. Rhys Darby plays a "gentleman pirate" who runs away from polite society and throws his money at playing piracy—but is way out of his depth. He is a huge sweetheart who just wants everyone to like him, and his rough-and-tumble pirate crew only tolerate him because they get paid steady wages and don't have to do much work. Plus, well, they kinda like him. And then in the third episode Blackbeard played by Taika Waititi shows up. It's incredibly charming and shares a lot of sensibilities with WWDITS, the Conchords, and Conchord-adjacent material. It also feels a good deal like Blackadder to me, if that sways anyone one way or the other.
