While the books and the show are pretty different I feel like people in this thread might be interested in knowing that Lev Grossman has a new fantasy novel coming out in July, this time a take on the King Arthur mythos (The Bright Sword.) The main character is an aspirant knight who travels to Camelot but discovers that King Arthur has just died and the round table is in shambles.
