Right but the only thing that has really made Croc's 88 days (so far) of banality at all interesting is the fact that for whatever reason, he dies at the end. That's the mystery, that's the entertainment, that's the thing that gives the rest of the manga meaning. If it's just a story of an underemployed guy screwing around with his pals until he becomes a pro gamer... I don't think the slice-of-life part works well enough for it to be good. Just IMO of course
