So I'm almost finished watching LOGH Gaiden and realized that I was watching the Gaiden and not the original OVA...

Did I just ruin/spoiler a bunch of the story?

I felt that was coming but I was really hoping it was a dream sequence.

I still can't believe they killed Yang.

Alright, I just finished this show. Best anime I've ever seen I think.

I hope one day the blu-ray boxset will have English subs and not cost $520.

Decided to start watching the show after people in the recommendation thread told me that I should just suck it up and tackle the show. Right now I'm in episode 10 and GODDAMN.

Yang Wen-Li has to be one of the best protagonists ever written. He just seems so... believable, you know? I mean, he's not the only one in this show, but he's the one that strikes me as one of the most refreshing lead characters I've ever watched. It kinda pisses me off that I allowed so much time to pass before checking out this epic journey.

If you liked Yang, you'll love the Rosenritter and every time we get to hear the anthem.
