Being a fan of Wes Anderson's previous work certainly gave me some semblance of what i was about to see, so in that respect LA delivers what you want. After the first watch, I find myself reflecting mostly on the same themes that endear all Anderson's movies to me: the unrelenting hope, the acceptance of essentrics/essentricities and of course the musical score. I will say that it seemed that most of the comedy was scripted, either this or the ad libs were so seemless that I tended not to notice. I'm goin' 4.5.
