Is the power usage in S3 sleep so little that I would likely not notice the power bill from leaving my computer to sleep instead of hibernate? My hard drives are slow and coming out of hibernate sucks.

Is there a utility that one can use to detect which of the 11 2.4Ghz channels is the least-noisy, or is it a matter of trial and error with lots of testing and router resets?

I move code between dev, QA, and prod environments. Part of this is updating several keys in a monster xml file. Is there a tool that will let me load two different files, and then highlight the differences between them?
