Watching it I had to keep reminding myself that when lead-acid batteries were first made, they were done entirely by hand like this. Though I'd hope with at least some PPE.

Safety tie and a driver's cap count? It's always interesting to see how things are done in the third world. Every vehicle in the Caribbean that had been around the block a few times had vise-grip marks on any bolt that had been removed/replaced. One tool for all jobs. That battery place uses: hammer/chisel, snips, the blower/charcoal furnace/crucible/ladle, and that battery-powered soldering iron. I think that's it. Think about how many specialized tools are used in the real factory, then compare it to that. Astonishing.
