Canon makes remote shutter switches with this function. Under $200 last time I checked, and you can use it for long exposures as well.

Carl Edwards spun his own rear end out. Completely his fault. Going in it was Edwards/Keseloski and then off to the rear and right somedude/Earndhart Jr. Edwards spun himself out, went airborne, came back and smashed the gently caress out of somedude, Earndhart avoided it and somedude crossed the finish line in 3rd place with his car a complete wreck and trailing sparks. The only person that really got hosed was Carl Edwards. EDIT: Somedude = Newman.
