I always thought "maybe" was used with changing conditions, i.e. "slippy maybe" == when we made these notes this area didn't have the best traction, but it might be better now!

But we should probably wait for someone like Kaptainballistik or Cat Terrist to chime in :)

The interview in the video has the other driver saying he was on a flying lap and that the flags were only visible 100m in front of the accident, and if that's true, it's conceivable that there really wasn't enough time to react or avoid. Every situation I've seen has flaggers two corners before the accident displaying a yellow, either standing or waved.

Pau and Monaco are both retarded, unsafe tracks that are only used because of tradition. At least Pau has passing (probably only because they race cars with enclosed bodywork there), can't say the same for Monaco where qualifying is the race and the feature on Sunday is a 100 minute parade of noisy cars.

It's called a 503E and used the 3S-GTE as a starting point but I'm sure it doesn't share a single part with the production engine. It was also used in Rod Millen's Pike's Peak Celica

I've never quite understood why high-hp cars show off by doing burnouts. It probably doesn't take much over the stock 170hp M20 to overcome the COF of those tires.
