Isn't Loki the trickster god? I think Pete's not gonna get exactly what he wants.

But it looks like the party may have a new cleric (at least temporarily).

I'm not sure what to think of this one. Artistically, I will say that I love the background of the comic.

Plotwise, I dunno....

I guess we'll have to see where it goes from here.

I agree, but it's been a staple of D&D for a while. And if this is the theory (and I'm fine with that) then they should just get rid of it altogether.

It's also important to note that, so far, V has had a short list of things to do with her immense power: save her family and protect them forever, reunite the gang, destroy Xykon. And she's done two of those so far. I don't think she really wants to go off battling gods or what have you since the whole reason she left in the first place was for the power she could get to help out.

She saved her family, sure. But she had nothing to do with getting the group back together.

3 Action Economist

Well, D&D has really always been more about hack-and-slash than real roleplaying, anyway. So that's a fair criticism, but it's kind of inherent with D&D.

No I'm not, I just don't play D&D, because it's not really based on roleplaying. That's why you earn XP for killing poo poo instead of playing your character.
