If I were interested in a set of 3.73 gears for a Mustang ford 8.8 28 spline, what would be the cheapest course of action. Ebay looks to be the cheapest from what I've looked into, but someone here might know of an easy junkyard target.

I picked up leather seats for my car. I want to make them heated.

I've seen a few kits online, does anyone have any recommendations? I could rip OEM poo poo out of a junkyard car, but I'd rather just order stuff.

This is what I thinking about. Didn't know if it was worth it or cheap junk.

Any insight would be appreciated.

I have a 2009 Subaru Outback. We have moved up on a mountain where the weather gets bad and the Outback may need to be pulled/pull others out of bad snow spots.

There is a little square cover that I assume hides a threaded hole for putting a tow ring into.

I saw these on ebay, and want to order one but I am not sure if both of these, either of these, or neither of these will work, or if these is a closer, cheaper, easier way to get one.

The first one looks beefier if they are the same.

Anyone know?

Look in your trunk area under the cover or in the OEM tool kit. You should have a tow eye in there that came with the car. You can either thread it in as needed, or drill a hole in the plastic cover and run the tow eye through and leave it 24/7.

As for aftermarket, I don't know the thread pitch, so I cant verify.

Also, get some shackles and a loop strap, hook straps are okay, but its awesome when you can get a good shackle setup going and really hurf on other peoples cars. I've towed out a few trucks with my legacy.
