It's Metro shelving with pegboard backing concealing the 100+ zip ties used to keep everything in place (more photos here). Can we get a whole room view of that, because right now, I'm sorry man but that just looks really ugly to me and I'm curious as to how it fits with the rest of the environment.

This photo on Flickr has most of the stuff tagged if you're curious. The receiver is decent for what it is, but we did have to get an HDMI switcher since we quickly ran out of inputs. I'll give you two points. 1. The homemade rack really does work in that environment. 2. To each their own, indeed.

^^^^ for random information: Google will deliver to you no matter where or how many periods are in your email address. You don't actually need the dot. Protip: You can also add "+[anything you want]" before the @ and you'll still get it. Great for figuring out who is selling your email address.kuffs posted:What, they're like $5 for a can of 500 or so. If you need to move things around then just chop off the old ones and put new ones on. I'll second the velcro. Chopping off zip ties is a huge pain in the rear end unless you want to keep a pair of side cutters behind your AV gear.
