looking for a song I just heard at a doctor’s office...kinda dance vibes with the drums, very simple flamenco-ish guitar part playing tresillo (1 a(2) + 3 a(4) +), and accordion. Robotic voice came in about halfway through, seemed like it might’ve been doubled by a woman. drums dropped out for a bit and came back in for the ending. the song after it was definitely by Ottmar Liebert if that helps

Heard this Italo Disco track in a BoneQuestFM mix recently, and I can't track it down through any of the usual ways. The chorus is "oh oh oh oh Susie O, now or one year ago. Oh oh oh oh Susie O, you've been reaching my soul." Any ideas? https://soundcloud.com/illupss/here-comes-the-future

Yep that's it, thank you! Apparently I was never going to find it through random searching as I always assumed it was spelled "susie" which doesn't get you anywhere, the trick was using "susy"

I remember reading something about a single version of Heaven On Their Minds circa 1970 with the lyrics completely rewritten so as to be appropriate (ie, not blasphemous) for radio play? I can't seem to find any evidence of this now, did I dream this up, was this an urban legend, or a real thing but a lost recording?

MCA did release 'Heaven On Their Minds’ in the States, but very half-heartedly and it sunk without trace.”

I'm looking for a song that's early 80's or in that style (like Bauhaus, Joy Division) and the lyrics have "we want you". Maybe some numbers too. Can't find it on google or YT under that name.

There’s a song that goes “you are soooo beautifuuul” and it’s been hard to find it bc the Joe Crocker song comes up, but it’s not that one. This song is definitely more fast-paced and it sounds like it came out in the early 2000s

I'm looking for a music video where the female singer is dancing around a red cave in a school uniform. I believe there may be a satanic character present and during certain parts of her choreographed routine, there is a tracer line type deal happening.

There is a harpsichord-y, steel acoustic riff at the start of Paul Mauriat's 60s-esque "Love is Blue", it's used in another more modern song, I feel like it was sampled on some popular pandora electronic-esque track? Maybe RJD2? Anybody have a clue what I'm talking about?

Synthy moody gothish song with reverb vocals. Intro to the chorus has the lead vocalist singing "Sing Lucilda" I think? At least one of the verses ends with a line that sounds like "from your beating heart". I just woke up with this playing on repeat and I know its burried somewhere in my Spotify library but I can't find it and searching any of the above brings me no joy. I'm pretty sure the song title is whatever the name the lead vocalist sings during the bridge.

Not a song, but seeking a music video. It features a young Asian lady getting offloaded off of a school bus and then dance-fighting against various opponents in front of some evil dictator, with the loser being executed. Saw it once some time ago, and I have no idea what the artist or song is.

Music video with popups about how much each thing cost to include. I remember it basically being about how music videos were faked to make the artist look richer than they were so it'd have a car and it would say "rented: $1500 a day" or somesuch

Got a former goon friend who doesn't want to go through the trouble of digging up his info after our group didn't know what he was talking about, and since Google was of no help it's clear he's misremembering the actual lyrics, but here's what he told us: "I'm half remembering a song and I need help finding it. I thought it's by the Dead Postmen but that could be wrong. I also thought it was called "bits of string" but Google has told me that's wrong. It's a fast paced pop alt rock sounding song that came out within the last 15 years. The lyrics, if I do remember them, were about the singer and some girl meeting up for a short visit, but they postpone heading their separate ways and he realizes that's a mistake afterwards. And the chorus is vaguely like: She's got tiny bits of string, and they're wrapped around ev-ry-thing, that she wants to call her own, but (??) But I may have mangled that because the Google just gives me wrong songs" "Towards the end, between the last chorus repeats, it cuts to a female voice repeating the last words in it a few times, but spliced up like: Ev, ry, thing, ev-ev-ev-ev ry thing, every every ev ry thing, alooooone It was on the radio for a while so it's not super obscure" "The only instruments in it sounds like a drum machine and a synth" I told him I'd ask in case any goons here are more knowledgeable than us.

Looking for help finding a certain EDM song. The twist is that I mostly remember the music video. The entire thing is portrayed via low-poly 3D models (think The Sims). IIRC it takes place mostly at a nightclub. I THINK the action proceeds via a series of minimally-animated still frames (think a comic book or storyboard). I also THINK the "plot" involved some sort of high-stakes criminal enterprise implicating the two DJs putting on a show at the club (who are 3D avatars of the artists who made the song). At least that's how it begins--gradually, the video becomes more and more psychadelic and "meta." It poses complicated philosophical/existential questions directly to the audience via big paragraphs of text that only stay on screen for a second or two, forcing viewers to pause in order to read. As the song builds to its climax, things get more and more intense, absurd, and psychadelic. Then, when the climactic beat drop happens, a lengthy montage begins wherein each of the characters who previously appeared in the music video bends over and allows the camera to fly up their rear end. The last bit is really quite jarring and funny. As for the music: all I remember is that it was a high-energy EDM/techno/dance song. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
