There's a new show, Really Big Things, hosted by the moronic Matt Rogers. I like the premise of the show - big rear end machines in action, but the host has got to go. I expect him to say "Git 'r dun" after every segment.

That's probably true. Jamie seems like he'd be a real humorless rear end in a top hat to work with or for and of the few times he's laughed at Adam's jokes or actions, none of them sounded genuine in the least.

Did you see the episode where they were testing methods to pass the Breathalyzer? Jamie looks like he'd be a mean drunk.

Anybody going to watch Decoding Nostrodamus?

I don't believe he predicted a damned thing, myself. I read James Randi's book about him and one the major points Randi made was that none of Nostrodamus' original manuscripts exist. All we have are copies of copies of copies. He also noted that the interpretations changed throughout the years based on the morality and political climate of the time.

I'm going to throw in a little Animal Planet action here.

I'm watching the new season of Meerkat Manor (subtitled "The Next Generation") and I really don't like Stockard Channing as the narrator. She's reading the script with all the emotion of someone reciting a telephone book.

Why the gently caress is this poo poo on a pseudo-educational channel?

Because EVERY niche channel will succumb to the ratings beast in the end. I remember when the Sci-Fi Channel didn't suck rear end (BSG is the exception). They show wrestling for god's sake!

The Game Show Network (now GSN) used to show those hilarious 70s game shows, and now it's loving poker.

Bravo, AMC, and many others have dropped dramatically in quality.
