Agreed. This year was a pretty good year for releases, overall. Pretty good chapters, too. Just when I thought I had had it with pirates, Miura throws me some undead fish-demon pirates and refreshes things. How awesome.

I kinda hope it was Gundam Seed Destiny. Just knowing it exists makes me cry some days. Gonna sit down tomorrow night and get through the 2nd and 3rd Berserk movies. Should be fun, I hope.

I look at it this way: There are plenty of anime that come out every season that look stunning and gorgeous, but are awful fanservicey trash. This Berserk series looks pretty subpar most of the time, but at least I know I like what it's going to be about. In other words, this adaptation has real flaws but I'm willing myself past them.
