So I was just browsing around YouTube videos as usual, and a little video popped up in the suggestions:

Just whoa. I was expecting a traditional rock band, and someone even described it as prog-rock, but this is straight up post-rock if I ever heard it, and it's really great. Is anyone else familiar with Toundra? This just came out of nowhere for me but I couldn't possibly recommend this album enough to any post-rock fan.

I posted it in this thread in the week this album was released!

You know how Mogwai has this trend of releasing bonus tracks with certain editions of their albums and the bonus tracks end up being better than some of the tracks that made it on the album? Looks like the same is true with Rave Tapes, except with these bonus tracks, I like them more than pretty much every song that made it on the album.

Any idea how to obtain them (legally)? They're not on iTunes.

It's weird, math rock and post rock are almost diametrically opposed and yet get lumped in with each other. One is delay drenched washes of sound and the other is the most staccato thing in the universe.

Although The Most Staccato Thing in the Universe would be a great name for a post rock band. But maybe a bit too short.
