Is there a decent website out there where I can stay up to date on new releases and so forth? Till now this thread has pretty much been my only source.

Christ alive, I can't stop listening to Waking Season. Please never stop making music, Caspian.

God Is An Astronaut released a new single recently. It sounds rather different from what they've done previously, while still keeping "their" unistakable sound. It's not the greatest I've heard, but I'm definitely gonna check out the album when it comes.

The new Caspian EP is great, but it has one huge drawback: It's not a full-length album. :negative:

So Mono's new album, which comes out October 28th, is gonna be a double album: The Last Dawn and Rays of Darkness. They're lighter and darker albums respectively. Apparently there won't be any more string section overloads like there were on For My Parents. They're also making shorter, more concise tracks this time around.

The Last Dawn

Rays of Darkness

First track premiere: "Where We Begin" from The Last Dawn.

After new TWDY being a disappointment, I'm really hoping new Mono totally blows me away. That track is a good sign, at least.

This is a great track, really looking forward to this double album.

Do you know how hard it is to google the Japanese band Té

I loved the albums I've been able to find but it's such a hassle trying to get them. I found a 2012 album of theirs, but is it an album or a live thing? I think I have the 2007 and 2010 ones and they were some of my favorite albums ever. The album and song titles alternate between japanese and english. Even on iTunes they seem to have the earlier ones in English than the latest one in Japanese.

On top of that every album has the same artwork with a different color in case you weren't confused enough.

This EP is a mix of a handful of studio recorded tracks and a bunch of live tracks. https://rateyourmusic.com/release/e...85%84%E3%80%82/

Unless this is a monumental tease, they might be making a studio album again, maybe? https://www.facebook.com/ExplosionsInTheSkyMusic/photos/a.453795654986.62678.6876129986/10150538293784987/?type=1&permPage=1

are there anyone else releasing albums or who has just released, that aren’t soundtracks?

I may have a bit of personal emotional attachment to it, but this is ultimately the swan song for me. It does still feel a bit detached from the foundational discography of How Strange to All of a Sudden though.

i remember being a bit disappointed with the album when it came out, but i listened to it in full again a couple of weeks ago, and it actually held up pretty nicely
