It brings me absolutely no joy to say this, but I'm a bit disappointed by the new Young Widows album. Yeah, it doesn't sound all that different from the last two albums before their hiatus, but it just isn't doing much for me.

Bouncing souls, Lagwagon, Dillinger Four, H20 plus somebody else I cant recall play together at Stone Pony in August... may very well merit an overseas plane trip. It would leave me with just The Vandals to cross out my bucket list.

not sure if anyone here likes MCR but the remix of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge leaked and it's on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE9FsMIPprY it's actually a super audible difference. i'm not sure how i feel about it, i kinda liked how mid rangey and guitar forward the original was, but it's interesting at the very least

I've never had a bad time at a Bouncing Souls show, one of my favourite was when they did 4 nights in a row in London Playing 2 albums each night, I booked a lovely hostel it was the middle of summer, it was sweaty and gross but I had a great time. I was on my own but had friends turning up for the gigs later in the day so during the daytime I'd hangout in Camden or on one day smuggled booze into london zoo with a few friends and got drunk with the animals There was also a show they did in Brighton that was fantastic fun only for everyone I know there getting the Norovirus and spending the next few days throwing up

I’m already taking my annual trip to Vegas for Punk Rock Bowling and then volunteering to work Camp Punksylvania, so I’m not sure I could afford another festival. my algorithm on yt showed me a podcast that was ranking the best hardcore live show recordings. i found it underwhelming it was all madball and hatebreed stuff. anyone got some favourite live show videos? i’m on my phone right now so i’ll post some later. tho i was watching the youth of today reunion show from 2016 at lunch today and it was rad as hell.
