Also just saw the Lillingtons tonight, and they were loving great. Good mix of old, new, and obscure. Played all of Project 313 too.

And MakeWar opened, and they were awesome too. Can’t wait to hear new stuff from them.

They played a new (unnamed) song during their set. I asked after the show if anything new was in the works and they said “next year”, depending.

I don't think you're going to find a weirder band. I'm also not sure what genre I'd classify this.

I think the Locust is generally considered noise rock. Listen to Melt-Banana. They’re kind of similar, being fast and noisy. They also have a split with the Locust, just for you.

I love how energetic his shows, even if you weren't into the music, and I know some aren't, you can respect how hard he goes

Stoked for the Wonder Years LA show in a couple weeks.

I’m torn on getting the VIP package. It seems like a hell of a deal, an extra private preshow, merch, the cd. It’s only 60 bucks. I already got a regular ticket though that I’d have to dump.

I paid $50 for regular in NYC after fees. I'm going Saturday but I'm most excited for Tiny Moving Parts :swoon:

Looks like after RiotFest last year, they're doing some more dates including one (and ONLY one) TEXAS date.

Frankie split 2 years ago when one of their members went to NYC, but they were my intro to the scene when they and France Camp opened for FIDLAR.
Teenage Moods were the second band I got into. I got their name tattooed 2 months after I saw them for the first time.
The Moods, Tongue Party, MURF, and France Camp are playing my bday show at Eagles 34 in June.
I asked Catbath and Peachka but they couldn’t.
I won’t go into every little detail with these bands but I love em.

Learning Curve Records is warming up to me.. They released Tongue Party’s new album, and put out a split w US Nails. Super Thief just announced their new album and Learning Curve is releasing it. Guess I’ve got a new label to pay attention to.

Super Thief is from.. Denton?, TX. I really liked their last album. Brutal and engaging.

They really are good guys. I found a video where Dylan teaches you how to play Birdhouse. You need some chops to pull it off, but drat how awesome is that?

I’m going to go see them every time they’re anywhere near me from now on.
